Annual dues
Every cabin on Pickerel is asked to pitch in $25 a year. Dues fund water-quality testing, AIS prevention, the Spray Donation Escrow, and the Gatherings — the work the association does on behalf of the whole lake.
Pay online
Fill out the membership form and pay by card — once, or automatically each year so your membership never lapses. No stamp, no checkbook, and the treasurer gets your information right away.
A card payment is $26.06. That includes the $1.06 card processing fee, so the association still receives the full $25.00.
An annual renewal starts a year from the day you sign up, and you can cancel it yourself at any time.
Mail a check
Write a check for $25.00 payable to Pickerel Lake Improvement Association. Include the household name, cabin address, and an email for the member roster.

One page. Print it, fill it out, and mail it with your check. Forms are due by May 15, 2026. After April 15 you can also drop it in the box at the Quist residence.
Optional
The Spray Donation Escrow funds emergency tent-caterpillar treatment when an outbreak exceeds threshold. Any amount enclosed with your dues check (noted as “spray escrow”) rolls forward to the next outbreak.

Access to curated lake resources — DNR, SWCD, water quality data, AIS guidance, and recreation references maintained by the board.
Lakeshore Directory
The printed directory of lakeshore owners, published and distributed every other year. A PLIA tradition since the 1970s.
An open Annual Meeting
Voice and vote at the June annual meeting — officer elections, treasurer’s report, AIS updates, and the direction of the association.
