In the live portal, card entry is handled by Stripe — the association never sees or stores card numbers. PCI scope stays with the processor.

Processing fee

Stripe charges 2.9% + $0.30 per card transaction. The processing fee is passed through so PLIA receives the full dues amount:

Member pays $26.06 → PLIA receives $25.00

$25.00 dues + $1.06 processing fee. The fee line is labeled clearly at checkout so members know what it covers.

Mail-a-check still routes $25.00 straight to Vicki with no processing fee.
